About Us
Different Times Equestrian Ventures at Hidden Springs Ranch is a multi-discipline boarding, lesson, training and sales facility based in Gansevoort, NY. With clients ranging in age from pre-school age children to mature adults, and with goals varying from pleasure & trail riding to competing on the A show circuit, we strive for a high level of horsemanship for all of our clients through education, and work towards building relationships between horse and rider based on mutual trust and respect. Whether riding for fun or for show, it is our belief that good, solid basic riding and training skills are the building blocks that a confident horse and rider are built on.
Our lesson and training programs are tailored to meet the needs of each horse and rider, whether it's a beginner rider on a school horse, or an advanced rider on their own green prospect, riding once a week or several times a week. We recognize that each rider - and horse - is an individual, and learns at their own pace, and in their own way. Lessons and training sessions are offered seven days a week, either at one of our training facilities (our main farm, Hidden Spring Ranch in Gansevoort, NY or Whistling Star Morgan Farm in Chestertown, NY), or at our client's facilities. School horses are available at both of our training facilities, for all levels.
Hidden Spring Ranch offers a full care boarding program, with both pasture and stall board available. Both include hay, grain twice daily, turnout, daily health checks and use of all amenities, including the lighted sand outdoor ring, round pen, grass hunt course, indoor arena, sand gallop track and 200+ acres of trails.

Additional Information
Our head trainer, Jennifer Breslin, has a strong background in the English Disciplines, having shown on the A circuit as a junior, primarily in the hunter & equitation rings. For fun, she rode team penners and cutting horses for a local trainer. During college, she switched to eventing and dressage, and began galloping racehorses. After moving to Saratoga, she picked up saddleseat as well. While each discipline has its own distinct differences, they also have a great deal of similarities as well. Solid and safe fundamentals are the key to good riding, any seat, any style, and Jennifer works hard to impart those same fundamentals to all of our riders.
