Franklin CC announces tournament date | Community Spirit

Though the snow's been falling and most people are thinking more about a warm mug of tea rather than tee time, the Franklin Community Center of Saratoga Springs has announced their 2011 open golf tournament will be held on June 4, 2011.

The 2011 Franklin Open charity golf tournament will be held at the Windy Hills Golf Course in Greenwich.  Just $80 per person includes greens fees, cart rental, a hot dog at the turn, a lunch buffet and great prizes. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. with an 8 a.m. shotgun start to follow. 
 
Sponsors are needed to make this event a success.  If you know a business who would like to sponsor the event or donate a prize, e-mail the community center at info@franklincommunitycenter.org for more information. 

Those who want to help but don't golf or can't make the tournament can sign up to be a Franklin Fantom. A $25 entry fee will entitle "Fantoms" to a 2011 Franklin Open tournament t-shirt as well as an entry into the raffle.  They will also receive recognition on the center's website and in an upcoming newsletter. Sign up as soon as possible to guarantee a t-shirt in the correct size.
