UPDATE: Saratoga Senior to recieve Criminal Justice Scholarship

The Saratoga Springs Police Lieutenants Criminal Justice Scholarship was presented to a Saratoga Springs High School senior on Wednesday, June 9.

Ronnie Gardner was given the scholarship by the lieutenants at 3:30 p.m. in the City Council Room.

The Saratoga Springs Police Lieutenants established a $500 scholarship in 2009 to be awarded to a graduating high school senior who intends to major in Criminal Justice in college.

Gardner will be graduating from Saratoga Springs High School on June 24 and plans to major in Criminal Justice at Adirondack Community College this fall.  She has completed an internship at the Saratoga Town Court and has volunteered with a number of organizations, including the Head Start Program, the March of Dimes and the Walk for Alzheimers.  She has also completed the Criminal Justice Program at the Saratoga/Warren/Washington County BOCES.
