Malta gets new theme song | Community Spirit
Malta is marking its small town charm with a new song.
“The Small Town of Malta” is adapted from a song made popular by country music star Dale Watson called “South of Round Rock Texas.” Watson offered the song to the town of Malta.
The new version was recorded by the popular local band Hair of the Dog.
The song will be officially unveiled tonight at the Town Board meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Malta Town Hall.
